Just found a 04/30/97 USA Today article on
the 6-cylinder BWM Z3. You can read it at:

For those browser-challenged, the author, James
R Healy, sums it up nicely:
"Despite the mean looks and meaty credentials, Z3 2.8 is
disappointing. he problem is simple: bland personality.
A sports car buyer probably is looking or something with
an edge; an automotive double espresso. Z3 2.8 is more like
vanilla decaf."
Is that why I cannot sleep at night after
driving the TR6...too much coffee!
