? no the only 'thing' between the head and block is the head gasket. I
am I missing something?.

No I have a TR-6, and Dual downdraft webers and J trap type adapters
from Pierce.
Speaking of webers, does any one know of a flow meter for down
drafts. the one I have is for side drafts. I have been synchronizing
them by ear with a rubber hose.
