Hi this is Tony , I would like to know if any of the Spitfire drivers have
converted their rear differential to something more reliable? I was thinking
of using a BMW 2002 system with coilovers. I have pictures of such a
transformation. The car was used in auto cross with a rotory engine. If
there are any Spitfire Hybrids out there please e-mail me some info.
   Thanks Tony C. User208391@aol.com

Hi Tony I've just joined the list. Regarding your question, there's a
magazine out of Florida called "Grassroots Motorsports" which is currently
has a series of articles on converting a spitfire to Mazada rotary
power/drive train including a RX7 rearend. They are on the web at
"http://www.grmotorsports.com";.
Hope this helps.
