David,: >When I originally got it, there were traces of a fluid that my (mechanic) friend said was automatic tranny fluid- red, and sweet smelling (he didn't take long to Identify it, so I trust him). It very well could be ATF. I used ATF in my SUs on my '6 before I converted to webers. It always worked well for me. Haynes said use 10W30, 10W30 might be to viscous in colder climates. -- Roger Helman 71 TR6 CC67866L Digimation Inc. New Orleans e. rogerh@digimation.com |
