the car runs good with plenty of pep so I didn't  want to mess up the
adjustments 
untill I really know what I am doing.


i have a 79 spit and  put one of the silver, oval type of air filters (vict
brit, i think)
on and saw an immed decrease in performance...w/cutting out at 3rd & 4th
gear,
5k rpm's and up. as soon as i replaced with the stock air cleaner system,
it
ran like a charm...i haven't messed w/it after that.....?? i thought it was
one of those
brit car things....
