Dean,
I keep reading alot of questions about tranny fluid. What ho?
I use 80w140, availible everywhere in my 78 overdrive Spit. I some 40k
miles I have had no problems. The overdrive is much more reliable now
than when I purchased the car. It is a daily driver on a 70mile round
trip commute. The car now has 120k on the original equipment all normal
parameters with in limits.
I am concerned about the mention of useing synthetic or teflon additive
oils in OD trannys. I can't speak from experiance, however I have had
several triumph owners warn me about their use w/the OD specificly.
