Tom Walling asks: "What would the collective wisdom of "the list" deem to be a reasonable amount of torque?" I have always used about 80 lb-ft for any wheels. I don't remember how or where I got this number, but I'm sure I got it from a reliable source (shop manual, Machinery's Handbook) Phil Barnes Cortland, NY (nowhere near New York City) peb3@cornell.edu '71 TR6 CC61193L (20 year owner) |
