Richard The hardest part about changing the oil seals is removing the
axle flange. I tried to enlist some tips from the list about a month
back but I think most thought I was referring to the axle flange.

Of three TR6 diffs only one of these came of the tapered shaft without a
fight. I'm about to try it again with a 50 ton press. I need to pull the
shafts to put my TRF back ordered 4.10 on my newly aquired Detroit
locker.

On my first diff project I had to heat the hub to a cherry red,
destroying both the seal and the inner bearing.

Good Luck!!!
