and Larry, I gotta weigh in here with Nick and Jack. Any bike that's
in good tune should fire up with a kick or two. You should be able to
kick over that 350 without even standing up and jumping on the kick
lever...and if you had an old Limey bike with the Amal carb `tickler'
instead of a choke plate, you could just tickle 'er 'til you finger
gets wet, and THEN jump on it...which reminds me of a local celebrity
of sorts, adorable Dora, a black leather wearing owner of a bright
PINK H-D Sportster, who can kick-start her own 1000cc big twin !!
If a bike can't threaten to launch you off the kick lever with a
back-fire, is it worth having ??
