                ----Angelo, i have a much easier time w/o the tranny 
attached, not as bulky or as heavy or as damaging to the firewall. if you 
do leave it connected you have to remove the shift tower. # 2 Always put 
in NEW while it is apart, used shims are not much help & used motor mnts. 
are even less. Do it right the first time is also right for the long run
