A mechanic friend has suggested that we can replace the front
engine mounts on my TR-3A by loosening the old mounts and jacking the motor
up via the oil pan. Does anyone see any risk in this approach or any
pitfalls we should watch out for? Seems pretty straight forward to me.
I plan to buy the mounts from TRF and utilize new stainless steel
hardware. I'm hoping to figure out the size of the bolts without first
taking one out. Is this the sort of info that can be found in the TR-3
parts catalogue?
        Thanks.
