Brian, I have been using the Sport Coil on my 74 TR6 for five years. But to
get the advantage of its extra power, you must run a 12 v line from the
fuse box to it. Don't use the existing ballasted wire. My 6 starts first
turn of the key even after siting for weeks in an unheated garage.
Incidentally, I have two sports coils for sale if anyone needs one. One is
the Lucas, the other a Bosch Super Blue. Both unused.
