Hello Carl and all,
The TR3 I wrote of a few weeks ago developed a knock and the owner didn't
stop driving it until it got real bad!
Anyway, he went to pull the main bearing caps off and says that it isn't
SAE nor metric, or at least he couldn't get his sockets on to fit.
My question, would the main bearing cap bolts be Whitworth on a '59 TR3
or is he perhaps just not lining the sockets up right?
I haven't gone over there myself yet to look at it, but just wanted to
know what to expect before I got there.
