List,
Be sure you get a performance tire! They are built differently; I bought
a set of passenger tires, 205/70 x15 and they bounced and waddled all
over the road!!! Scared me enough to buy performance 205/60 x 15 -
handles great, but a bit too low to ground and does not fill tire well.
Will stay with these, but will go to 205/70 x 15 next round.
I like Pirelli, B.F.Goodrich, Yokohama and Michelin (thru experience)
good grip and good to very good wear; Goodyear-NO WAY (thru experience;
or not much, they wore out < 10,000 and dealer no help!) I drive
enthusiastically, 7500+ miles a year; 60-40 open hwy/back roads.
$0.02 Later. Yours in Triumphs, Steve
ps: I have an original Jasmine '72 TR6, and it's a rare TR6 color at
shows-count the colors at the VTR nationals; see you there!
