Bob,

Regarding your question:

"My questions are: can anybody out there in net land that has a set of
Webers tell me what size air cleaners are on thier TR6's? Further, can
someone tell me a K&N part number for the "correct" air cleaners?

Also note: the 3" tall filters seem to clear the body okay, but I'd have
to remove the entire intake manifold to change the filters! I don't think
this is the proper method..."

My TR6 has triple Webers and K&N filters installed by a PO (no velocity
stacks). I could not find any part number reference on the filters (oval
shape) but thier dimensions are (looking at them from the right side of the
car); 7" wide, 3 3/8" deep, 4 1/2" tall. The front air cleaner just fits
between the carb body and fender well. for servicing, a hole was cut in the
inner fender to access the center screw on front carb from the wheel well. I
hope this helps. I'm on the digest so if you need more info please contact me
directly.

Carel Allen
