Subject: spit - hot air intake
good day ...
perhaps a silly question, but does the spitfire hot air intake
from the exhaust manifold just collect hot air from around the
manifold, or does it actually collect exhaust gas?

Subject: Spit Frame Check
I looked at a 76 Spit last week but forgot to note if it had the
catalytic frame cutout on the right rail. The ID is FM44xxxU. The
car is in pieces, no exhaust system in sight. Might someone know
when this frame mod was made? The seller does not know what I
am talking about and it's a bit of a drive to check. Mark
