Tim, good show. Proves these problems can be solved with perseverance.
Funny thing is that after you solve them it seems so ridicilous that it was
not self evident at the start. The big thing with the horn circiut is to
break it down into parts and test each part. Tim - IGNORE NEXT PAR. I forgot
you didn't have the original steering wheel. I'll leave it in for the list.
[New horn pushes (for the original steering wheel) are readily available -
one thing is that not all the new ones have a chrome ring around the black
part (the part that has the logo and moves down to complete the circuit).
Since that chrome ring sits right in front of you I found it annoying to
keep looking at the new gunmetal grey one. There is a way to fix that -
1st-keep the old one if it is chrome and 2nd- if you want to fix the new one
to original, give me a shout and I'll tell you how to do it.]
Thanks for the info on the wiring loom. I'll file that for future reference
regarding early TR4's.
