>HI ! Bob, Ihave taken the top cover off & most of the gears are very well
worn,so i took off the overdrive & find 8 springs so this tells me it could
be from a PI saloon. Can anyone else confirm this GR prefix, when BOB says
its a factory rebuild is this a MOSS Euorpe or Rimmers Bros. Has anyone
have a list on A type overdrive serial numbers that came from what Triumph
cars. What i have is 22/61275 for TR2,22/61374 for TR2 to 3/3a,22/61712 for
TR4 to some TR4a,22/61753 for TR4a, & TR250, 22/61985 for TR6. What i
require is the car type that had 22/61973,?? Seeing there is a list on
window dots for age surly someone must have details on overdrive prefix
applications.
best wishes Ashley
