There's a very good book for this made by, you guessed it,
Lindsay Porter. I have one for my Triumph powered Octagon
Mobile, it's called "MG Midget and Austin Healey Sprite
Service Guide", you can extrapolate the name for whatever
Triumph you drive.
It's a really good book for somebody like me, perhaps you fit
into that category. I can do most of the repairs my car requires,
and I know most maintenance principles. But I needed a book to
say "THERE IS A GREASE NIPPLE HERE THAT GREASES THE XYZ PART AND
NEEDS GREASE ONCE A MONTH". That kind of thing.
Without it, my maintenance would basically be climb around
underneath the car with a grease gun and zap anything I see,
then check the brakes and fluids and call it a day. Lots of
likelihood of missing something for years.
As well, the book has a nice checkbox section so you can
click off what maintenance you have done as you do it, to
be absolutely sure. Might even add resale value to your car
if you show it to the buyer and it's been kept for years.
