I have been receiving a large number of reports from various
people around the country that they are not able to connect
to the VTR WWW pages, but instead get the "roadrunner home page."
I am glad to announce that the problem has now been fixed, even
though I don't understand why it was happening!
I have been unable to reproduce the problem here, although I can
observe that it is happening by checking our server logs. I have,
by experimentation, been able to trace the problem to a WWW server
configuration change I made here last Friday, as a precursor to some
new enhancements we've been working on. I have since backed out the
changes, and can verify that the problem has gone away, even though
I don't understand why it repeatedly failed for certain individuals
while it worked just fine for me and a few other people I had asked to
test it.
If anybody here on the list has experienced an inability to get
to the VTR WWW pages over this last weekend, I apologize for
the inconvenience! I also want to thank the people that let
me know they were having problems -- everything was working
fine from here!

wonder if Lucas supplies components for the Apache WWW server...
