Gentlemen,
Correct me if I am incorrect, because I have never rebuilt these two
cylinders myself and cannot find the reference I remember; but I was under
the belief that the brake master cyliner included a return spring, whereas
the clutch master cylinder did not, relying on the spring on the slave
cylinder to supply the return. The logic was that if the clutch master
cylinder included a spring it could cause dragging on the clutch? I really
don't remember the details.
