This is a quick pic of the rear of the switch the 1&___ represent the sides
the
0's represent the connecter lugs for wires.
you will need a switch which has all lugs insulated from each other for
this design to work.

Hands up all those who are confused
In this diagram if it has reproduced we have the 3 switches side by side now
the 0's still represent the lugs on the rear the letters rep the wire
connections
wire aa from the ignition switch
wire a to bb
wire b to c
wire from cc to coil
do not wire from aa to a, or bb to b,or c to cc as these connections are
made when the switch lever is in the correct position when parked throw 1
or 2 of the switches to kill the ignition ie no voltage to ig coil to
restart simply throw switches to correct posn.
the wiring does not have to conform to my drawing as top middle bottom but
can be placed anywhere on the lugs say 3 top ones 3 bottom etc.Just as long
as they are arranged so the switch lever can make the circuit.
it goes without saying that the switches should be placed in an area not
readily visible
