As regards to midgets bottoms not going so soon (!!!) My sister has a midget 1500 in much better nick than my Spit 1500 (engine much smoother) and I cant get it to go as fast as my spit. One the handling isn't as 'good' and two I think that the midgets came in a lower state of tune. Then again it does have a lower geared 'box so you would have to rev it more.
