I know that the 77 MG midget has the Triumph 1500 engine, carb, and
transmission as the Spitfire because I yanked a used tranny out of one and
put it in my Spit. At the same time I helped a guy with a 77 Midget rebuild
his 150CD Stromberg carb by swapping parts with a junker I had.
