My thanks to all who responded regarding my query for the correct size
tires to go on a tr6. It's nice to know there are so many people who are
willing to share stories re: what works and what doesn't.

My second question to the list is this: What is the original and/or best
method of dealing with the seams between the rear fenders and the fwd.
pieces, rear deck, and rear valance?

I am aware that they should not be body-filled in (although I have seen
some like this). Other people have put filler (putty, etc.) into the
seams either before or after painting, although this seems to crack,
especially if painted over. What are the advantages of this method?

I would assume that the seams should be left open for drainage, the
same as where the front fender meets the windshield surround. Is this
original/correct?

If so, is there a good coating for the seams to resist rust?

Robert
