I think a 255/55/15 will do the trick... My personal rec for the BFG
Comp TA HR (mine were 205/60/15s) is added. I fell into these tires
on a lark. I had saved enough money for a set of Panasports from TRF
a few years back. A friend of mine offered me the same Panas at
dealer cost prices. This saved enough cash so I could get tires with
the leftover. The Comp/TAs were on sale. Over the course of seasons
that the Comp/TAs were on the car, I used it for autocrossing, back
and forth to work, as well as long hauls to New York, Chicago, Mid
Ohio and Kentucky for shows conventions and races. I was always
satisfied with their performance. I'll most likely go back to the
Comp/TAs as soon as I wear the grooves off the Goodyear VR/ZRs that
are on the car now.
