Not to open myself up to flame for being environment insensitive...
I replaced the Strombergs on my TR250 with a set of HS6s off a '67 TR4A.
I did the change over in 1984 and have had the SU on since with no
problems noted...or am I just being blind and really missing the mark?
I run it with headers and a REED cam cut to S2 specs.
It was a bolt on except that I had to re-work the fuel lines a bit.
Instead of running the fuel line across the top of the water pump, I ran
it up and over the battery.
