Spitfire viscous coupling removal

Friends........I've got to replace my viscous fan coupling (1975 Spitfire).
I've got it removed from the car but don't really no how to pull it from
the water pump housing. Will a gear puller seperate the two? Or will I have
to get a machine shop to do it for me? Will a vice be enough hardware to
press the new one back on?? Will Ted ever get back with Martha?? oooops
