I must say that Shane's message may have some good information.
It would not be the first time that the gov has had a plan to "help" out the
little people who do not know how to help them selves.
There may be some hoops to jump through on the way to C & C, and each one
of these stages will take time and have a dollar cost. That seems almost a
given.
When? How much? Will we all be driving New Cars to keep up with the air
quality? Who is to pay for the New Cars. Sounds like a Detroit Dream.
Allready in California; Fail your smog test and get a waiver.... A one
time waver! Now you have a car that can't be sold and soon will not be
registered and not driven. This is in place now.
Yes one can spend the required money to "bring the Gross P into compliance".
What of the avalilability of parts? Same law requires that NO
modifications be made to the Emissions components. It seems that under
CURRENT law that if the Smog Boys want you they can get you (your car).
Don't ever let them get your name on any list.
I, for one, am concerned.
