The 1970 Spitfire Did, indeed have a steering lock. It also had highback seats, a funky bullseye medallian on the bonnet, and the cast-iron "cyclops" backup light, with reflectors in the spots where the backup lights had been previously. In the US the 1970 model had the single ZS150 carb instead of the earlier pairs of SU HS2s. The 1970 Spit, while still a MK3, had about everything the MK4 had except the square tail.
