I recently purchased Piper cam (fast road) with followers and valve springs
for an engine rebuild. The Piper supplied springs consisted of the older
style single type - mine is of the double variety. When I called them they
stated this is all they supply...
My question is can I simply reinstall my old smaller inside valve springs
with the new larger springs assuming the older ones are to spec? OR should
I replace all with new.
Any thoughts or advice?
