Thanks to all who resonded to my query on where to start this project.

Since my last request for direction I've been doing some work on the car,
with considerable frustration. I started by trying to take off the front
grill and bumper. Of the first 8 bolts I attempted to remove, I only
managed to get off 3. The others would not come for reasons such as
strippped threads etc. I'm considering backing off my original goal in
completely restoring the car to making it safe and reliable and putting my
money into the interior and redoing the body by dipping it and replacing
rocker panels etc. but not a full restoration. I think this car is too far
gone for any practical ($$$) restoration. I do have purest tendencies but
they are superceded by economics.
Any thoughts?
