A more intensive rear light that You can turn on in bad viz conditions
like fog, heavy snow etc. They are compulsory on new cars in most of
Europe at least. Normally the bulb has at least the wattage of the break
light bulbs. Most common is a single rear fog light mounted on the left
side if the car is for a right side drive traffic system like Yours.
Sometimes they are two but that can then easily be mistaken for a break
light in some situations.
