Several years ago, I tore out the slightly decomposed metal / rubber door
seals from my '70 GT6+ and threw them away.
While the condition of these seals was awful, the design was quite sound. The
seals utilized a flexible metal "c-band" surrounded by rubber. This design
allows the seal to securely attach to the lip in the door cavity in the body.
I can't find similar replacements anywhere! Vikkie Brit sent me some (rubber
only) furflex seals that look like they are glued on. This will not do. :-(
Any leads on original-style "c-band" door seals will be appreciated.
