For Triumph parts, I would suggest checking first wth The Roadster Factory
(TRF
for short). They are the Triumph (especially TR-6) specialists. Their
parts
knowledge, quality, and availability of parts that no one else carries is
second to none (when they are in stock ;) ). If you don't have their
excellent
two volume parts catalogus I would suggest calling them and getting a copy.

I stand (or sit ) corrected on the comm #s
The source I was looking at as I typed was volume 1 of the catalog set Steve
refers to. It actually lists the 74 1/2 as "1975" sarting with CF27001 and
production dates of 08/74 thru 01/75 and right below it lists 1975 again as
starting with CF35001 and running from 01/75 to 08/75.
In my haste to welcome and (hopefully) help a new list member and fellow
TR6 owner (brave soul) I did not notice the "1975" listing for what nearly
everyone
refers to as the "1974 1/2" model year.
BTW Piggot's book gives incomplete and incorrect info on commision numbers.
