Andy,
about your hazard warning light problem: I actually had the same
problem on my Spitfire. I cleaned the switch (which fortunately didn't
brake) and it still blinked too fast and barely noticable. After a long
evening's diagnosis and thought I ordered a new relay and that actually
made it work again. I remember that the old one still made noticable
clicking noises after cleaning the contacts but after all I figured that
the only source for the problem was in the relay.
