Moss' puzzle aka TR4 soft top

Hey thanks for all the helpful advice with my tonneau. Got it on and it fits
wonderfully!

Today I opened up the soft top and to my woe found many Moss provided parts
that I am clueless as to function or location.  The parts in question are
tiny male/female pieces about 1/4 the size of snaps.  The "lift the dot" and
"snap pieces" I am clear about insofar as where they go and how they are
oriented.   These others are a mystery.  Any help is appreciated.
