Well, Lady Emma now has about 200 miles on the totally rebuilt engine. Leaks
badly around the pan and I hope to get to that this week-end with some
permatex black. But my questions is, How long does it take rings and things
to properly seat. When I first start up, and until the engine is warmed up,
my oil pressure is in the 70-90 range. Then as I drive it settles down into
the 40 -60 range. I 'm thinking I have some blow-by til everything warms up.
I am showing a lttle blue smoke on acceleration. Any comments? Thanks Fred
