The other part of that is "I smell your car all through the house" I'm
not sure if it is odor from the clothes or if air is filtering in from the
garage. The other night she said something about a separate garage. I
kept my mouth shut (for now...) ;-)

Jon,
I experience the same situation - every time I come in from a drive, my wife
says to me, "Gosh, you smell like an old car!" I usually experience more of
this with top-down driving (more exhaust smell).
My solution: take her on more drives and she doesn't notice it :)
I spend so much time at the races and in the pits anyway, maybe I've
just lost my sense of smell!
