I would mention that there *ARE* a number of VTR Chapters on the West Coast,
that *ARE* having major multi-day regional meets!
These meets feature nearly all the activities of a National Convention,
generally including an Autocross, Fun Rally, TSD Rally, Driving Tours,
Technical Sessions, Gymkhana/Funkhana, and a Concours/People's Choice show.
The two biggest that come to mind are listed here:
