I just bought a pair of rebuilt Stromberg carbs from them for my TR4A. They
are excellent and they have that 18 month warranty that you described. Dave
Simms was one of the mechanics at Start Your Engines back in the 70's and
early 80's (Beltsville, MD Triumph and MG shop, bought out by MOSS in the
early 80's). Cross Roads is a relatively new company that is made up of
people from TRF's rebuild operation and from MOSS. They appear to do
excellent work and at reasonable prices. As always, if someone will rebuild
your transmission for a great price, something is missing. They will rebuild
your transmission for a reasonable price, and recommend the replacement of
any suspect parts. This is much better than a "great price" that grinds into
second gear next summer.
