My GT6 has been doing this for the last 5 or 6 years. Really strange,
took the assembly apart a couple of years ago thinking it was melting down
and found nothing wrong. It still does it once in a while, but I guess
I'll wait until the signals stop working. The whole assembly is available
but not cheap.

I'm getting puffs of smoke from my turn signal switch when I first start
the car especially in damp weather. I suspect that the switch is on its
way out. However, the turn signals are still functioning and I don't see
any melted insulation. Should I be checking anything else?
