I realize the chances are slim that anyone would need only one piston, but:
I have ONE brand-new Hepolite piston, p/n 16857, STD, which I believe is
for a Mk.3 Spitfire engine (or perhaps the earlier Mk.IV --
non-recessed-block -- engine). Sizes given on the box are 73.647mm or
2.8995". It is complete with rings and piston pin in the original box
(with three vacant spots surrrounding it). It does have some
ever-so-slight rust staining, but that does not appear to have caused
any damage; it appears 99% as new.
If there is anyone out there who could make use of a single piston of
that size for their Mk.3 engine, I'll let you have it for $10.00 + UPS.
Awaiting the hundreds of expected responses, ;-)
