I'd also heard through the grapevine that John Kipping had some of
these. Apparently, according to Graham Robsons book, there was a 4wd
vehicle produced in Isreal using them!

Quattro >:-)
It certainly would make an interesting historic rally car possible,
although the limitation of design is that there is no centre diff, and
the front and back diff ratios weren't quite the same producing strange
'wind up' effects on tarmac. Great off road though!
