Okey Dokey, I bought new seals for my '77 Spitfire clutch master cylinder
because the damn thing has developed a slow leak. Thinking to myself that
this can't be too horrible to do, I disconnect the master cylinder, pull it
out of the car, remove the circlip and pushrod and...Huh? The haynes manual
sez to "take a small electrical screwdriver and lift the tag on the spring
retainer which..." The spring retainer is behind the piston. I can't seem
to get the piston out of the master cylinder. How do you get the
**&*&%%^%$# piston and seals out? Please help this ignorant savage.
