Re: Snaps on top. I still have an original top for my 64 TR4 ( I bought it
in 1973) but when I bought the new top from Robbins and took it to an
upholstery place to have it done they managed to screw it up. My advice is
to be careful to whom you take it to be done and that you stay around to be
sure that they put the snaps on correctly i.e. the lift the dot is tangent to
the body so that u can pull the snaps off easily. Anyway It is quite a story
- if anyone is interested in how to do it correctly - which I NOW know how to
do. If interested give me a shout.
