Well, its been another one of those days; I discovered a serious flaw in my
'72 GT6. The threaded portion of the front vertical link, that goes inside
the trunnion, is bent about 6 or 8 degrees, presumably the result of a PO's
accident. I tried to straighten it with a couple of big pipes but could not
muster. Am I crazy to even try this? Should I heat it up a bit and try
again? Does anyone have a good used Lefthand front vertical link for a GT6
for sale? (that's the casting that goes between the ball joint and the
trunnion, to which the stub axle is mounted)
Thanks,
