Thanks to those who responded about my TR6's knocking sounds in the
rear. I climbed under and checked the U-joints and differential
mounts for signs of failure, but I didn't see anything obvious. I'm
thinking I'll go ahead and change out the U-joints just so I know
that they're good.
My question is, what does the differential mount failure look like?
Is it the bolt that breaks or the metal bracket? Is it real obvious,
and if not, is there a way to determine for sure that it is good or bad?
I don't know what work the PO did in this area.
