Alternatively, you can use brass nuts on the stock studs as the factory did (highly unlikely to rust) or go to a marine supply and get stainless nuts and spring washers. Either of these solutions should cure the problem, once you have it apart. (I highly recommend stainless nuts for holding the manifold on as well.) ARP has started making stainless manifold stud kits, for those of you that really want to throw money at the problem! |
