Not at you, just at the car. ;-)
I'm a purist for my own purposes (and for my someday to be restored
collection of cars, including the infamous Coffee-colored Herald Conv.),
but you're right -- it's your car and your money. You might lose big in
judging at VTR meets, but there's always Participant's Choice.
FWIW, one of the nicest TR3As I've ever seen was at the 1983 VTR
Convention in Long Island. The car was a decidedly nonstock color, a
kind of metallic champagne -- beautifully done, and the color really set
off the lines of the car.
Enjoy your car, whatever color you choose. (BTW, whose color is this
Valasquez Cream?)
